In this blog, we will explore some of the most beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire including special mentions of our favourites.
Reasons why the beaches in Pembrokeshire are so popular
Pembrokeshire is home to some of the most stunning beaches in Wales, including Parrog Beach, Newport Sands and Cwm-Yr-Eglwys.
1. Peace and tranquillity of the coastline
There really is something magical about the Pembrokeshire coastline. It has an amazing way of providing peace and clarity for everybody who visits.
Even seeing a photo is enough sometimes to bring a little extra calm to my day.
2. A huge variety of beaches
Another reason why Pembrokeshire beaches are so popular is that there are plenty of different types. There are beaches for surfers looking to catch some waves and for people looking to explore small fishing coves.
There are even a variety of sandy and stone beaches, so you’re pretty much guaranteed to find your perfect beach.
3. More than just sand and sea
Pembrokeshire beaches in particular are renowned for their breathtaking beauty and historical significance, making them the perfect destination for a beach getaway.
Located within the Welsh National Coastal Park, these beaches are some of the most picturesque in the world.
With miles of golden sand and crystal-clear waters, it's no wonder that Welsh beaches are considered among the best in Britain.
4. The Welsh National Coastal Park
Wales is a land of breathtaking beauty and rich history. Its beaches are no exception, with many of them being part of the Welsh National Coastal Park. Something pretty special about the coastal path is that it’s the UK’s only completely coastal national park.
